Welcome! We at OUT’n’BACK Equine Transport understand that reading T’s&C’s is boring and we know your time is valuable! We have made an effort to shorten this page to the “things you really should know”. So read on-so we can get to the exciting part…AUCTION DAY!!!

Please read the following Terms & Conditions for “AUCTION ABSENTEE BIDDING”. By submitting a “BIDDING FORM” you agree to the following T’s&C’s and declare that you were not mislead or coerced by any OUT’n’BACK Equine Transport representative and you agree that you cannot hold any OUT’n’BACK Equine Transport representative liable for your purchase.

Thanks again for choosing our free absentee bidding service, we wish you the best with your purchase! We endeavour to ensure your transaction with us is both affordable and enjoyable!

HOW IT WORKS:
Follow our facebook page closely (or the auction centres page) for photos and pen/lot numbers. Pick the pen/lot number(s) you’re interested in, click the button at the bottom of the page and fill out the bidding form. It's now time to transfer your MAX BID to OUT’n’BACK Equine Transport. At this point, the hard work is done, so sit back, relax and wait to hear from us!
It is not uncommon for the lot you've purchased to be in our care for several days until it is delivered to you. Please understand the animal will be cared for in the same way that all our transport animals are cared for. It will have shelter, water and food at all times where applicable.
PLEASE NOTE: We can only absentee bid for you if we are transporting the animal(s) to you, an agistment or to another transport business. Your transport quote will be sent to your mobile before action start and if you are successful at auction, the transport invoice will be emailed to you for immediate payment. You cannot decide after the auction that you or someone else will be picking the animal(s) up as the animal(s) is our responsibility until it is delivered to the address on the transport invoice.

WHAT WE CAN'T DO:
  • Inspect the animal for you. An animal auction is not unlike any other auction where bids are made on lots at face value.
  • We can't guarantee you whether the animal is broken in or not, handled or not.
  • We can't guarantee the sex, colour or age of the animal.
  • We can't guarantee the information we are given is correct.
  • We will not get in the yard with any animals that are not purchased by us on behalf of someone.
  • We will not leave any animals behind after the auction for someone else to pick up.
  • We can not take phone calls or reply to messages after the published action start time. We are very busy on auction day and we need customers to be mindful of this. You have not been forgotten- we will get back to you!

Money received by us is to absentee bid with the intention of buying livestock or horses, up to the maximum value of money received. Details of how this agreement will be acted upon are below.

(1) Money is put forward in good faith by the payee, to the maximum bid amount of a single lot, as stated by the bidding form. This clearly defines lot number, maximum bid for the lot including any GST or BUYERS PREMIUM charged by vendor.

(1a) The payee has up until the official advertised start time of the auction to withdraw their buying intentions. A full refund will be initiated within 72hrs and no further action will be taken on the payee's behalf. After such start time, the following clauses apply.

(2) The buyer is then free to bid on livestock or horses as per bidding form.

(3) If a lot is purchased, it is put into the name of the buyer for simplicity. This does not denote ownership.

(4) At such time as the livestock or horses are received by the payee ie.picked up/delivered or other arrangement, they will be "sold" to the payee for the exact amount shown on proof of purchase for the lot.

(5) Any money still outstanding after the purchase of a particular lot ARE NOT to be used on the purchase of a different lot. The maximums for each lot are to be CLEARLY DEFINED as per bidding form.

(6) Any money left over after the purchase of the lot, will then be refunded within 72hrs, to the payee.

(7) The buyer is NOT responsible for any outcomes of the auction and is to only act in conjunction with written direction from the payee.

(9) The buyer is not responsible for any judgement of the livestock or horses. The buyer can not be held responsible for judging the age, condition, colour, temperament or any other facet of the lot. The payee needs to understand they are bidding at an auction and the payee must acknowledge this and be-ware.

(10) The transport Invoice will be emailed to your email address provided on the bidding form once you have been successful in purchasing a lot.
The transport invoice must be paid in full before the horse is delivered.
If the transport invoice is not paid and the horse cannot be delivered on the agreed date/time, agistment will be charged at a rate of $12 plus GST per day until full payment is received, the transport quote may also increase if the horse has to be taken to the nearest OUT’n’BACK Equine Transport Depot.
You have TWO WEEKS to pay the transport invoice, as well as the Agistment invoices and have made arrangements for the animal to be moved off the property or the animal is considered abandoned and the property of OUT’n’BACK Equine Transport. The animal may be sold to recover costs. The purchase price of the animal will NOT be refunded to you.
